Christina is a board-certified Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) proudly serving women of all ages at The Modern Woman Health & Wellness Center in Wolcott, Connecticut. With advanced training from Yale University and years of experience in both hospital-based obstetrics and outpatient gynecology, she brings compassionate, evidence-based care to every patient she serves.

 

Her clinical expertise includes:

• Prenatal care, labor support, and vaginal deliveries

• Postpartum care

• Contraceptive counseling (including IUDs and Nexplanon insertions/removals)

• Breastfeeding education and lactation support

• STI testing and treatment

• Menopause management and hormone education

• Infertility counseling and reproductive health support

• Pelvic pain and vaginitis evaluation and treatment

• Endometrial and vulvar biopsies

• Management of anxiety and depression during pregnancy/postpartum and across the lifespan

• Certified Lactation Counselor.

Before joining our team, Christina worked at several leading healthcare institutions across Connecticut, including Yale New Haven Hospital, Trinity Health of New England, and Cornell Scott Hill Health Center, where she also served as a clinical instructor for medical residents and nurse-midwifery students. She has held faculty positions at both the Yale School of Medicine and the Yale School of Nursing, mentoring the next generation of women’s health providers.
